Unidad de Neurobiología del Desarrollo

The Developmental Neurobiology Unit is a research unit part of the Biomedical Sciences Research Laboratory hosted at the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (UCSC). We are located in the city of Concepción about five hours from the main capital in Chile. At this place, we work on elucidating the cellular and molecular mechanisms that control the development and functioning of the cerebral cortex. In this context, our research endeavors aim at contributing to understand the mechanisms involved in a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders.
